Brave Exhibitions is a decadent performance-art show and new monthly club night at the Macbeth, inspired by a track from Australian post-punk band the Boys Next Door (Nick Cave was a founding member, which explains the group's legacy). Spare synth lines, metallic beats, dense electronic sounds and obscure post-punk tracks permeate the set lists of Lady Himalaya (of Decasia fame) and DJ Infarktas, who crank out the sountrack for a crowd of futurists, neo-goths, minimalists and no wavers. The final master strokes of dark ambience are courtesy Einstürzende Neubauten videos on the big screen.
