Lip-Gloss and Lacquer's seven artists take on fashion, celebrity and commodification in the glamour industry. Laura Buckley uses video installations of light, refracted by moving mirrors, perspex and reflective liquids, to disorient the viewer. Steve Hiett draws on his own heavily stylised fashion photography to conceal his subjects behind sharp graphics and urban locations, highlighting the female as an elusive object of desire.
