More Flavor: Festival Celebrating Sanctuary

In celebration of Refugee Week, this daylong party on the South Bank celebrates the artistic talents of refugees in the UK. The Noisettes headline with a heady mix of post-punk, blues and funk, and impassioned rapper and soul singer Angelina belts her heart out (accompanied by the Gypsy Punks), while other acts range from Congolese Kasai Masai dancers to the London Bulgarian choir. The Spoken Word Stage teams up with Book Slam to showcase London's new writing and storytelling works, with special guest Independent journalist Yasmin Alibayah Brown.
