More Flavor: Festival Refugee Week

First held in 1998, Refugee Week returns with a jam-packed lineup of shows, exhibitions and conferences celebrating the diverse contributions that refugees have made to the UK, with events taking place in London, Norwich, Edinburgh and many cities in between. Highlights include the Refuge in Films festival, opening on Friday with a screening of Jackie Salloum's acclaimed Slingshot Hip Hop, which looks at the lives of Palestinian hip-hop artists. Saturday brings music and spoken word on the Southbank, or head to the Museum of London's Flowers of Thoughts workshop to make a gift for someone in need.
