Awaiting your contemplation, Murano-based artist Daniela Schönbächler's work is in situ in Soho's former gun factory. Schönbächler brings a fragment of the Italian city, famed for its glass-making, to London with shimmering glass cubes; cloaked in layers of paint, her pieces change tones in the light. The glass canvases catch the moment between tension and tranquillity; in fact, her whole collection is designed to offer visitors a quiet refuge — a rare and wonderful thing, amidst Soho's urban madness. A lunchtime visit may be the perfect escape from the daily grind.
