This evening, media club Frontline present Paris Review editor Philip Gourevitch in conversation with journalism professor Gavin McFadyen. Gourevitch's new book with filmmaker Errol Morris, Standard Operating Procedure (mirroring Morris' recent documentary of the same name), investigates the murky accounts behind the shocking 2004 photographs of detainee abuse at Abu Ghraib and tries to make sense of the motivation behind it.
