Ealing's PM Gallery presents Solstice, a new video project by London-born artist Neeta Madahar, opening on (you guessed it) the solstice. Looking upward to the Wiltshire sky, the installation is an ambitious response to the summer and winter solstices — respectively, the longest and shortest days of the year. Focusing on natural patterns and progressions, earlier projects captured falling seed pods and involved feeding birds. For the current show, Madahar fixed her camera on the cosmos and condensed the changing solstice skies into two 24-minute meditations on space and time. The screenings are accompanied by a soundtrack from the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
