Film: Shorts Every Story Is a Travel Story

Curator Gaia Tedone teams up with six contemporary film and video artists to examine the relationship between storytelling and migration. Some pieces offer glimpses into the personal journeys that artists make to and from their homelands; Milan-based Adrian Paci digs for his roots in socialist Albania, exploring both his family's history and local traditions. Like a time-travelling anthropologist, Lisl Ponger's work draws on lost civilisations in Peru, as well the Jewish experience of forced relocation in Austria. The screening is followed by a Q&A session with artists Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio, Lisl Ponger and Yaron Lapid.
