This evening, Camden's Etcetera Theatre — host to productions of a distinctly fringe-like nature — presents siblings Gavin & Gavin with their Edinburgh-destined It's a Long Road That Doesn't Have a Bend. Sisters Lauretta and Sharon claim they've known they were a double-act bound for comedic glory since the tender ages of three-and-a-half and a mere day old, and the ensuing years of triumphant performances have proved them right. It's a Long Road... is based on the sisters' experiences growing up in a north London-based Irish brood, and the wealth of anecdotes and incidents results in a blend of gleeful mirth and poignant ruminations.
