Film Lou Reed's Berlin feat. Lou Reed Q&A

Lou Reed released the concept album Berlin in 1973, but the record wasn't performed live until 2007 — when it featured in five consecutive nights at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, complete with orchestra and choir. Visual artist/Oscar-nominated director Julian Schnabel (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) designed the hotel-inspired backdrop for the show — which tells the story of a woman and her lover in the titular divided German city — and filmed it in its entirety. Reed himself appears after tonight's screening of the resulting film for a special Q&A.
