Music: Hip-Hop Immortal Technique w/ Skinnyman

Operating under the name Immortal Technique, Peruvian-born, Harlem-based MC Felipe Coronel is just as exceptional as his immodest moniker suggests — he's also completely at odds with much of the hip-hop that makes it over the Atlantic these days. Tech's here to promote his third album, The 3rd World, a fervent political attack on Western complacencies that combines his powerful delivery with a newly fleshed-out production aesthetic. Low Life Records' Skinnyman works the crowd beforehand.
