6-11 June
Mondays–Wednesdays (2:30–6:30pm)
Fridays–Saturdays (2:30–6:30pm)
This exhibition is the culmination of a 2007 youth-photography project, for which community-education programme Zoom In encouraged young Londoners to get involved with photography through a series of special workshops. In the first session, students learned how to compose, light and take shots, then digitally manipulate them and print black-and-white images; in the next, they themselves became the teachers, volunteering to pass on their newfound knowledge to the new class. The resulting snaps form a collection of striking monochrome portraits that belie the inexperience of their creators.
