Friday 6 June (9pm–4am)
New York DJ/producer Quentin Harris has done more than his fair share to sustain the art of deep, soulful house. With his Kiss My Black Ass parties, the Detroit native injects some much-needed darkness into the genre, taking effusive 4/4 grooves back underground. Now Harris comes to London's own East Village for the very first time, giving us all a chance to check out the Defected star's two-deck technique in the intimate confines of the club's basement for a full-on, Danny Tenaglia-esque, six-hour session. Upstairs in the bar, Horse Meat Disco provide the disco-punk drumbeats, as Stuart Patterson's vision for Fridays in the Village comes to fruition.
