Avant-electronic duo Matmos hate following convention, so it's little surprise that the UK leg of their European tour is more festival than simple gig. Taking over the latest Beaconsfield fundraising event, they've roped in some favourite "infernal allies" to make sure that this really will be the Mother of All Parties. Spread over three nights, Matmos performances include the psychotic dance of Drew Daniel's solo project the Soft Pink Truth, an improvised experimental set and a grand finale on Monday showcasing new LP Supreme Balloon. Other highlights include Nitewreckers, featuring Dave Ball of Soft Cell, and Carter Tutti of '70s art-noise icons Throbbing Gristle.
