Vegetarians would be well-advised to steer clear of Hampton Court Palace's regular Tudor cookery sessions, in which all forms of meat are extravagantly flaunted — echoing a period when devouring flesh was considered a sign of wealth. Food archeologists from Historia whip up a tantalising feast in King Henry VII's kitchen, experimenting with traditional recipes, techniques and ingredients for dishes such as roast venison, pork pies and pottage.
