Art Aura Satz: Automamusic

Exploring ghosts in the machine, Artprojx Space present Aura Staz's exhibition Automamusic. Featuring self-played violins and accordians, the installation takes in early means of composition reproduction; over the coming weeks, a collusion of film, sound, photography and drawing are displayed in an eerie manifestation of mechanical music. Having exhibited worldwide, Satz currently teaches at the London Consortium and, as a follow-up to Automamusic, has already created an Automatic Ensemble, which will premiere in Switzerland in January 2009 and include Satz herself along with musician Aleks Kolkowski.
