More Flavor: Festival Rise Festival 2008

Finsbury Park hosts Rise, London's biggest free music festival, in celebration of our capital's diversity. Highlights include reggae legend Jimmy Cliff on the main stage, which also features the funk/soul sounds of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings and the Brazilian electro-rock of CSS. Meanwhile, the likes of Trojan Sound System and Alex Paterson (one half of the Orb) take to the DJ stage, while the Underground stage gives a platform to the emerging talent coming out of London's youth projects.
