Music: Rock/Pop Seth Kim-Cohen: 68SFTD

Artist Seth Kim-Cohen presents his conceptual rock performance at the ICA. Taking its inspiration from the Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil", 68SFTD's 68 minutes encompass the historic events of 1968 — political demonstrations, the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and the Prague Spring, to name a few. Embodying the idea that history repeats itself rather than progressing, the music becomes a metaphor for, in the words of Kim-Cohen, "the death of values". The eight-piece band doing the honors includes Portishead collaborator Jim Barr and Sarah Nicolls from the London Sinfonietta.
