The ladies of punk three-piece Wetdog have been playing together for more than four years but were only recently signed to Angular Recording Corporation, the New Cross indie that's home to the Violets and These New Puritans. Having toured with the Gossip and Pete and the Pirates, the girls have had plenty of time to iron out the creases in their live performances — thankfully, though, they didn't bother. Their debut LP, Enterprise Reversal (out next Monday), is gloriously scratchy and ramshackle, as each hyperactive two-minute song is bullied along by ferocious energy, incomprehensibly catchy lyrics, grubby bass lines and ack-ack drums.
