Music: Rock/Pop Goonite Club feat. the Hillfields, the Postcards, This Club and Citizen Helene

Building on the Buffalo Bar's solid reputation for hosting indie club nights, this Goonite Club show features the kind of jangly offbeat pop that gets the cardigan-wearing set shaking their skinny limbs on the dance floor. Bands include the C86-inspired Postcards and the Hillfields, who formed after Iggy Pop's Meltdown gig last year. It's not immediately apparent what these shambolic popsters have in common with Iggy's aggression and skin-tight pants, but we do know that, in general, Iggy Pop inevitably leads to awesomeness.
