Flying monkeys, munchkins and talking trees, oh my — the ruby-slippered Dorothy Gale and her little dog Toto land at the Royal Festival Hall this summer for Jude Kelly's much-anticipated theatrical adaption of the beloved tale by L. Frank Baum. Featuring songs from the classic 1939 film, this production casts TV actress Sian Brooke as Dorothy, with dancer Adam Cooper taking on the role of the heartless Tin Man, comedian-turned-musical-stalwart Gary Wilmot as the cowardly Lion and old timer Roy Hudd as the ineffectual sorcerer. All together now: "We're off to book the Wizard!"
