Kora hail from the Māori town of Whakatane on New Zealand's North Island. The five-piece band (which includes four brothers) plays a heavy-hitting blend of electronic reggae beats, dub textures and soulful R&B vocals, polished through years of playing together. They haven't rushed into recording their tight, rhythm-led fusion, releasing just one immensely popular single back in Kiwi-land. Now, they hit the UK for their first mini-tour, playing the high-intensity hits from their self-titled debut LP.
