In support of the idea that Tuesday is the new Friday, 93 Feet East hosts the weekly bash Thank Tang It's Tuesday! It's led by (you guessed it) Tang, a DJ and producer whose upbeat mixture of electro, breaks and indie gleefully — and contagiously — validates the audacious proposal. The event also lends a hand to up-and-coming DJs, with a competition that could net you a monthly residency. Entry couldn't be simpler — just bring along a mix, and if it gets the thumbs up from Tang and his crew, it'll get played. They select the four best mixes for the final round, and the winner kick-starts their reign next month.
