Art: Photography Capturing Film History in the Making

For a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of some classic films, head down to the Getty Images Gallery for Capturing Film History in the Making. Shot at Pinewood, Shepperton and Teddington Studios, the photographs in the exhibition feature everyone from Peter Sellers on the set of The Pink Panther and Stanley Kubrick hard at work on Dr Strangelove to England's World Cup-winning team chatting with Sean Connery. No doubt, the show will evoke more than a tinge of nostalgia for a golden age long past — even the most staunch modernist may leave sighing, "They just don't make them like they used to."
