Art Machinic Alliances

In group show Machinic Alliances, 11 artists reveal the bonds that form between human and non-human forces, while delving into biology and technology to reshape traditional concepts of the independent self. Highlights include David Cotterrell's recent work, which explores urban human experiences by recreating them in technological form — as in his artificial-intelligence pedestrian population and automobile-gridlock generator. Paulette Phillips, on the other hand, explores communication via the language of classic Hollywood and avant-garde cinema.
