Music: Electronic Nostalgia: A Trip Down Memory Lane 1988-2008

There's a distinct whiff of PLUR-related wistfulness in the air at Electrowerkz this evening, as two decades' worth of Nostalgia kick off. Featuring the likes of Micky Finn, Beni G and DJ Carlos vs Max One + MC A on the decks, throwing out a blend of acid house and old-skool hardcore, the grimy three-floor warehouse is transformed into a haven of glowsticks, pacifiers and other fluoro paraphernalia. Hark back to the days of the much-cherished Second Summer of Love by dredging up those plastic beads, slipping on a Day-Glo top and raving on with likeminded nostalgics.
