If you didn't manage to score Glasto or Bestival tickets, there's still time to get your passes for what's arguably the cream of UK left-field festivals — few can match the Big Chill in terms of widescreen musical lineups, associated oddness and downright sparkle. Trentemøller, the Mighty Boosh, the Buzzcocks and Thievery Corporation jostle for your attention, along with a Victorian freakshow, storytelling around the bonfires, Joe Claussell, a house of fairy tales, classic French cinema and more. Eastnor Castle Deer Park's idyllic locale even muffles the kiddie area's screams of "Bourgeoise!"
