Diane's accompanists are the Cave Singers, a Seattle-based folk-rock trio with ever-so-slight prog tendencies. Born and raised in Nevada, Alela Diane fills her lyrics with stories from way out West. Listen for the evocative "Dry Grass and Shadows" alongside numbers from her two albums, Songs Whistled Through White Teeth and The Pirate's Gospel.
