Tying in with UNESCO's International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade, the Museum in Docklands honours the Caribbean immigrants who arrived in Tilbury on the Empire Windrush 60 years ago. One of a series of events surrounding the museum's London, Sugar & Slavery exhibition, the afternoon features performances from poets John Agard and Adisa, beats from the Nyanome African drummers and stories from Windrush veteran Sam King.
