V&A's new exhibition Fashion V Sport explores the firm — unshakable, these days — link between the two industries, taking in a wealth of collaborations over the years. From David Beckham for Armani to sportswear's influence on Prada, Visvim and Jeremy Scott collections, via the deeper issue of a shared desire for bodily perfection, its an intriguing study of the association between functionality and flair.
