The Horse Hospital says…

In From Fear to Sanity, the Horse Hospital celebrates the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament's 50th anniversary with an overview of the organisation's history. The show principally looks at the CND's defining visual imagery — sources include banners, posters, documents and photographs chronicling 1958's historical 50-mile march from Trafalgar Square to Aldermaston's hydrogen-bomb plant. Films screened include the documentary Trinity and Beyond (1995) and If You Love This Planet (1982), which was dismissed as "propaganda" by the US government. The exhibition celebrates the CND's conviction, while reminding viewers that the protest against humankind's deadliest weapon remains relevant today.
