Although he's best known for his collaboration with singer KT Tunstall (he rendered her as a comic-book character for Tunstall's album Drastic Fantastic), artist Robin Footitt is no one-trick pony. For this exhibition, in which his work is displayed in the boardroom at Hoxton Works (and visible in Hoxton Hall's Windowspace), the Central St Martins graduate focuses on themes of escape and rescue. Footitt's superhero fascination is still evident in special effects-heavy drawings and paintings, and in the artist's latest innovative gadget — a "roller-ball printing device" constructed from a bowling ball.
