Zest Gallery says…

This exhibition proves that there's more to glass than vases and bowls, with six contemporary glass artists displaying artworks designed for walls. Lucy Alexandra Batt's pieces are reminiscent of '70s Indian-restaurant wallpaper — flock designs realised in smooth, dark shades — while Janet Hodcroft's toughened panels are genuinely intended as alternatives to the more traditional paper coverings. Meanwhile, Martin Moller's Islamic-inspired wall oozes history and appears to have been lifted from an ancient place of worship, in stark contrast to Adam Aaronson's starkly modern hand-blown sculptures.
