Following the success of their 2005 Academy Award winner Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, French director Michel Gondry and visual artist Pierre Bismuth have teamed up once again for this specially commissioned piece, which examines themes explored in the movie, including memory and temporal shifts. The visual installation consists of a room set, the contents of which gradually disappear (removed by hand) until nothing is left, while a television shows the pair's film collaboration on a loop. It's an engaging work, further complemented by a short run of films on erasure, curated by Bismuth.
