Forming part of this autumn's Brazilian Season in London, which includes theatre productions, art exhibits and music concerts, the three-day cultural celebration AfroBrazil centres around a photography exhibition from acclaimed artist Walter Firmo and members of CAPA (Afro-Brazilian Artists Association). The images depict all aspects of Brazil, from poverty-stricken rural areas and urban favelas to samba dancing and, of course, carnivals. Other events include a double bill of films and a conference on the history of African culture in this South American nation.
