Adam Buxton — of Adam and Joe fame — brings whacked-out humour to the BFI for his monthly showcase, BUG. A big beard and huge boots aren't the only funny things about this man; Buxton presents weird films dredged up from his imagination, performances from top comics and his own bizarre sketches, all of which make for a rather absurd atmosphere in this typically high-brow venue. Expect nuggets from his recent BBC3 show, MeeBOX, as well as a few YouTube discoveries and creations of his own. Going out to watch Internet vids seems like a geeky move until you fall off your chair laughing, at which point it becomes just plain smart.
