The ladies behind Dolly Mixture have emerged from the post-art school, pre-teaching wilderness to reacquaint the world with the magnificence of arts and crafts, and it's this shared determination that links their mixed-media pieces together. PGCE-studying teachers of tomorrow Polly White, Lucinda Mawell and Alyson Aiken and graphic designer Caroline White all work in different disciplines, but nonetheless have matched the bric-a-brac that decorates this quirky gallery space with their own equally delightful pieces, which include ceramic portraits of strangers, paintings layered with collage elements and hand-sketched illustrations.
