Even with concerted efforts to get people to reduce consumption — every shop worth its salt offers a stylish canvas alternative to the plastic bag these days — and therefore the amount that ends up in landfill, we use nearly 100 million tonnes of plastic each year. This exhibition, part of the London Design Festival, demonstrates the beauty and versatility of the material while suggesting intriguing recycling propositions. Highlights include Stuart Haygarth's party-popper chandelier, Committee's twist on their trademark towers of found objects and Hiroko Shiratori's "fossils of the future".
