French avant-gardist Juliette Binoche teams up with maverick choreographer Akram Khan to create a piece that remains in flux as it is performed. With Binoche embarking on her first dance performance and Khan singing and playing guitar, again for the first time onstage, the project — for which Turner Prizer Anish Kapoor took on set-design duties — seems set to push these two innovators to their limits. Themes of introspection and common language were the only motifs the team wished to be made public prior to the performance — come prepared for something weird and, probably, rather wonderful.
