Purveyors of all unabashedly independent — be it in the form of a fanzine, record label or, as featured here, an urban mini-festival — Club Fandango return to 229 with A Fistful of Fandango. Held over the coming five evenings, the series sees no fewer than 30 acts grace the venue's two stages. The carousing begins tonight with the twee melancholy of Stockholm's the Shout Out Louds, as well as country-popsters the Boy Least Likely To. Other artists slated to appear are Fionn Regan, Lucky Soul, Camera Obscura, Air Traffic and Broken Records, who bring a slice of glockenspiel-inspired folk bedlam to the proceedings.
