A former affiliate of the Cambridge Footlighters, Mark Watson brings his unique brand of stream-of-consciousness humour to the Bloomsbury Theatre this evening. While this is a far cry from his recent marathon 24-hour sets, Watson arrives nonetheless well-supplied with a wealth of material culled from the second series of his Radio 4 show, the unassumingly titled Mark Watson Makes the World a Better Place. Fresh off-stage from another triumphant Edinburgh appearance, Watson's spontaneous verbal eruptions will no doubt take a more principled slant — or perhaps, not — as he launches his second non-fiction tome, Crap at the Environment.
