Comedian and comedy writer Robin Ince presents John Waters' teen movie Cry-Baby for the Curzon's Midnight Movies series. The director's '50s take on the age-old story of young loves crossing social divides follows Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker (Johnny Depp) as he pursues the woman of his dreams, uptown girl Allison Vernon-Williams (Amy Locane). Prior to the screening, Ince offers some thoughts on Cry-Baby and the movies in general. Ince knows his stuff when it comes to the teen genre, having penned Skins, the Bafta-winning series that focuses on the college days of a group of Bristolians.
