The last five years have seen the Festival of Life become one of the biggest food festivals in Europe. Focusing on sustainable living and vegan cuisine, the event features scrumptious food and a vast array of information for eco-minded visitors, including live speakers on holistic topics. (Instead of alcoholic beverages, alternative energy boosters like raw cocoa are served.) More than anything, the Festival is a celebration of an environmentally friendly way of life, with music, dancing and chanting galore. The pinnacle of the day is a full-on dance party featuring tribal grooves and electronica from the likes of Maha-Ra and Beats Ecstatic.
