Transforming the capital into a playground for the fearless, Rat Race Urban Adventure takes on London today. Following stints in Brighton, Edinburgh and Newcastle, the competition dares those of both mind and muscle to tackle all nooks and crannies in a hiking, abseiling, kayaking and parkour challenge. On a course revealed to participants mere hours before setting off, teams of three compete for prizes through canals, in alleyways and over statues. Those with less of an inclination of take part are advised to head Event Village-way, where an opportunity to kick back and enjoy the spectacle awaits.
