Hannah Waldron's collection of illustrations comprises a bevy of delicate, colourful musings on space, favourite animals and imaginary worlds. The subjects of her previous ink drawings, animations and short films include polar bears, frogs, squirrels and — excitingly — sharks. This time it's the glassy-eyed owl that attracts her pen. Almost doodled, Waldron's illustrations have an abstract, absent-minded quality to them, and her subjects appear surrounded by swirls of triangles and squares, as if emerging from daydreams. You'd be forgiven for wanting to escape into her nostalgic, beautiful imaginings.
