If you missed the super-intimate Silver Apples gig last March, now's your chance to catch the NY experimental legends live. Highly influential in Krautrock, minimalist and electronic music — due in part to their use of handmade analogue synths in the late '60s — Silver Apples made an amazing comeback after a lengthy hiatus to officially re-emerge in '96. Support comes from Demian Castellanos, the one-man-band behind the name the Oscillation, showcasing a mix of Kraut and psychedelic rock from his new album, out this October on DC Recordings.
