Photographer Angela Gorgas celebrates the 60th birthday of her old friend and former fiancée Martin Amis (or Smarty Anus, as Private Eye calls him) with this exhibition of monochrome images dating back to the late '70s, when the couple moved in London's literary circles. These personal shots feature a host of famous names, from writing contemporaries Ian McEwan, James Fenton and Mark Boxer to Amis's late father Kingsley and journalist, critic and self-styled 'contrarian' Christopher Hitchens.
