Though everyone indulges in a bit of celebrity gossip now and then, some crazed fans take it way too far: this is the premise of Too Much is Not Enough: Fame, fans and excess, the group exhibition at Transition Gallery. Among the artists exploring the psychology of extreme fandom through paintings, photographs, drawings and installations are Kim Pace, Jessica Voorsanger, Gavin Toye, Cathy Lomax and Sarah Doyle. Subjects getting the deliciously ironic treatment include Patrick Swayze, Jayne Mansfield and hordes of screaming fans.
