This themed season at the NFT shows there's a lot more to Ingrid Bergman's filmography than her turn opposite Bogart as Ilsa Lund in Michael Curtiz's 1942 classic Casablanca (which of course is being screened here too). The series explores the Hollywood icon's entire oeuvre and includes rarely seen pieces such as Ingmar Bergman's Autumn Sonata, in which she starred as a pianist in her 60s; more famous roles such as Hitchcock heroine in spy-thriller Notorious and the surreal Spellbound; and her 1957 Oscar-winning performance as the supposedly missing Romanov heir in Anastasia.
