Lindsay Seers explores the complexity of relationships in It Has To Be This Way at Matt's Gallery. Following a recent jaunt to Stockholm, the installationist decided to reconstruct her stepsister's past in the Swedish capital. The result, on display here, is a viewing chamber through which video projections and photographic stills of Seers' time there can be observed. This reflexive exhibition also explores the role of media in shaping the past, rather than merely capturing it transparently.
